Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday inaugurated the two-day National Security Strategies Conference-2026 (NSSC), directing security agencies to take strict measures against infiltration. He asked police chiefs to detect and deport illegal migrants.
Shah said an AI-based analysis of information available on Multi Agency Centres (MAC) platforms should be carried out to create standard operating procedures (SOPs) to counter various national security challenges.
The conference, held in a hybrid format, was attended by over 850 participants from across the country. According to the minister, Tuesday's sessions will discuss information warfare and its implications for national security, as well as the need for a bio-security framework.
Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan was also present at the event.
