Union Home Minister Amit Shah has agreed to visit Manipur in the first week of October to lay the foundation stone of a medical college in Senapati district, Chief Minister N. Yumnam Khemchand Singh said on Wednesday.

Mr. Shah also assured that the Centre would fulfil the aspirations of the people of Manipur. The Home Minister reportedly lauded the state government for resuming the Imphal-Dimapur-Guwahati bus service and ensuring free movement of all communities on National Highway 2.
