The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) will review on August 24 whether the central government has fulfilled written assurances made after the party withdrew its nationwide agitation against exam irregularities on July 25. The CJP said it may consider launching another peaceful agitation if commitments are not met.

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has scheduled a meeting of its national working committee on August 24 to examine the status of commitments made by the central government following the withdrawal of the party's nationwide agitation against exam irregularities on July 25.
CJP said that the government delegation that engaged in talks with the party did not formally reach out to place on record the steps being taken to fulfil the written assurances, including those related to FIRs and compensation.
The party said all steps to secure fulfilment of the commitments would be considered, including the possibility of launching another peaceful nationwide agitation. It stated that it called off its agitation in good faith because the government gave its word to the young people of the country, and it would not allow that good faith to be mistaken for weakness.
CJP also addressed students, young citizens, and its supporters in its statement.
