Delhi Police arrested a school cab driver in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a three-year-old girl in Bawana, outer Delhi. The suspect, identified as Vikas, was taken into custody after the girl's parents reported the incident to police and school authorities.

The girl, a student at a private school, showed injury marks and a change in behaviour. When questioned, she told her parents that the cab driver had touched her inappropriately and threatened her. The parents alerted the school and police.

Police said the complainant alleged that her daughter had been sexually assaulted by a staff member. A case has been filed under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, and a Special Investigation Team has been formed to probe the matter. Police added that the suspect has six criminal cases against him, including theft. The alleged assault was reported on August 24.
