On August 23 at 8:48 am, a CISF constable on watch duty spotted a black drone flying about 30-40 metres outside the perimeter wall of ISRO's ISITE campus in Bengaluru. The drone, about one foot in size, was visible for 7-8 seconds before heading towards Anandnagar, roughly a kilometre away. A security patrol later found that a housewarming ceremony was taking place nearby and suspected the drone was used to capture aerial footage of the event. The area is declared a no-drone zone. A case was registered at HAL police station based on a complaint filed by defence personnel M Ramachandra.
