Gurugram residents faced waterlogging again on Tuesday as persistent rainfall inundated several areas. The city had little time to drain water from Monday's intense showers, and intermittent rains through Tuesday—followed by heavy evening rain—made conditions worse. The district administration issued an advisory, leading schools to hold online classes and some companies to instruct employees to work from home. Road cave-ins were reported at two locations, trapping the tyres of heavy vehicles and raising concerns about the condition of roads and the drainage system. Gurugram, described as the state's highest revenue generator, appeared to be struggling with the situation.
