The Haryana government has started collecting vacancy details from departments to implement horizontal reservation for ex-Agniveers domiciled in the state.
The Haryana government has initiated an exercise to identify direct recruitment vacancies across government departments, boards and corporations to operationalise horizontal reservation for ex-Agniveers domiciled in the state. Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi directed all administrative secretaries to submit vacancy information to the government on priority. The move follows state government instructions issued on August 18 extending horizontal reservation benefits to Haryana-domiciled ex-Agniveers. The government will assess vacancies available under the direct recruitment quota for appointments made through the Haryana Public Service Commission and the Haryana Staff Selection Commission. Departments have been asked to furnish a post-wise and category-wise vacancy break-up.
