The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has declared the results of the Matric second examination held in July 2026. This examination was conducted under the dual board examination system introduced for Class 10 students from March 2026. It was open to students appearing for essential improvement, compartment, optional improvement, and additional subjects.
A total of 8,181 students appeared for the July examination, of whom 4,930 passed, yielding a pass percentage of 60.27%. When the main and second examinations are combined, 91,060 students appeared and 81,110 passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 89.54%.
The second examination provides eligible Class 10 students with another opportunity to improve their results or clear academic requirements.
