The Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), a Hyderabad police-industry partnership, is marking 20 years and plans to expand its Student Mobility programme to cover after-school activities using RTC buses and a technology platform.
The Society for Cyberabad Security Council (SCSC), a police-industry partnership in Hyderabad, is entering its third decade and is planning to widen its student safety work. SCSC began with a focus on women's safety and has since expanded into cybersecurity, road safety, and child and youth safety. As it marks 20 years, the group is working on a trusted transport system for children travelling to extracurricular activities such as tuition, sports, or other sessions after school, particularly when parents are still at work in the evening. The pilot initiative would use RTC buses and a technology platform for safe after-school transport, along with student safety clubs, according to the group.
