Nestle's global CEO said India was its highest-performing market in the first half of the year, and the company expects it to become one of its top five markets.
India emerged as Nestle's highest-performing market in the first half of this year (CY2026), according to Nestle Global CEO Philipp Navratil, speaking on his first visit to the country after taking charge in September. He said emerging markets are driving growth for the company, with India leading the pack. India is currently among Nestle's top 10 markets, and Navratil said the potential to move up is "on the horizon." Nestle India, whose brands include Maggi, KitKat and Nescafe, reported revenue of about Rs 23,155 crore in FY26, showing year-on-year growth of over 14%. Navratil attributed the performance to "billionaire brands, volume-led growth and right value proposition across portfolio."
