Karnataka Industries Minister M.B. Patil said the state government plans to establish a dedicated industrial park for Korean companies, following the model of the Japan Tools Industrial Park near Tumakuru. He made the announcement on Wednesday at the inauguration of DN Solutions' Rs 600-crore manufacturing and research and development (R&D) facility at Kundana General Industrial Area in Devanahalli taluk. Patil said the location of the proposed Korean industrial park will be decided at a later stage. He added that the state is keen to attract more investments from Korea and create an ecosystem that would encourage Korean companies to set up operations in Karnataka.
