Mangaluru civic chief directs timely completion of Adyar water treatment plant
Mangaluru City Corporation Commissioner Rahul Ratnam Pandey inspected municipal water, drainage and infrastructure works and directed officials to complete the 125 MLD Adyar water treatment plant on schedule with quality standards.
Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner Rahul Ratnam Pandey on Thursday directed officials to complete the 125 MLD water treatment plant (WTP) being built by KUIDFC at Adyar within the stipulated timeframe and maintain quality standards. During a citywide inspection, he reviewed the progress of the Adyar WTP, Thumbe Dam, Thumbe WTP, Bendoorwell WTP, underground drainage work on Karavali Circle-Pumpwell Road, and culvert construction near City Hospital. At the Adyar plant, he sought details on the current stage of work, technical aspects, and the expected completion schedule.
