Mugma station remodelling to disrupt 30 train services from Sept 21-28
Around 30 trains will be cancelled, partially cancelled, or diverted between September 21 and 28 due to remodelling work at Mugma station in the Dhanbad division of East Central Railway, according to railway officials. Several expresses and passenger trains are affected, including the Howrah-Bikaner Express, Sampark Kranti Express, and Pataliputra Express.
Railway officials said around 30 trains will be cancelled, partially cancelled, or diverted between September 21 and 28 due to remodelling work at Mugma station in the Dhanbad division of East Central Railway. Senior public relations officer Manish Saurabh announced the schedule changes on Wednesday.
The Howrah-Bikaner Express will be cancelled on September 21. The Sealdah-Anand Vihar Sampark Kranti Express will not run on September 22, and the Anand Vihar-Sealdah Express on September 23. The Patna-Hatia Pataliputra Express will be cancelled from September 24 to 27, and the Hatia-Patna Pataliputra Express from September 23 to 26.
Other cancellations include the Kolkata-Agra Cantt Express and Bikaner-Howrah Express on September 24, the Ranchi-Godda Express on September 24 and 26, and the Godda-Ranchi Express on September 25 and 27. The Ranchi-Gorakhpur Express is also among the affected services. The Hatia-Bardhaman MEMU will be short-terminated or will originate from an alternate station.
