The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Tuesday said it has revamped its team to make the examination process more secure and robust. As part of this, it has removed about 600 experts who had been guiding the setting of its examinations and is currently onboarding new experts. The agency also said it is introducing four-tier question paper checks, according to the announcement.
The education ministry's official release said education minister Pralhad Joshi held a follow-up meeting and directed that all necessary security and related infrastructural facilities be put in place for the smooth conduct of examinations.
Among the key exams conducted by the NTA are entrance examinations such as JEE-Main, NEET-UG, CUET, and eligibility examinations like UGC-NET.
