Odisha extends engineering admissions deadline to Sept 14
Odisha has extended the admission deadline for engineering and technical courses for the 2026-27 academic session to September 14, aligning with the AICTE academic calendar and a request from OJEE authorities.
Odisha's Skill Development and Technical Education department has extended the admission deadline for first-year and lateral-entry technical and professional programmes for the 2026-27 academic session to September 14. The extension follows the revised academic calendar of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and a request from the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) authorities. Earlier, admissions were scheduled to conclude by mid-August, and OJEE officials had indicated in July that the regular process would likely be completed by early August. The state's BTech intake capacity has risen to about 53,000 seats.
