Two Parsi bungalows in Mumbai's Bandra to be redeveloped into luxury towers
Two early 20th century Parsi-owned bungalows in Bandra's Perry Cross Road area will be demolished and redeveloped by Supreme Universal into two luxury towers, continuing a trend of old Bandra bungalows being replaced by high-end apartments.
Two Parsi-owned bungalows in the upscale Perry Cross Road area off Carter Road in Bandra (West), Mumbai, will be razed and redeveloped by Supreme Universal. The properties, Gladhurst and Kavas Lodge, are early 20th century buildings located on land belonging to the Wavelash and Sunbeam housing societies. According to Supreme's Sunny Bijlani, plans are underway to build two luxury towers, with every flat featuring a private terrace. The combined plot is approximately one acre, described as the largest on the Carter Road coastline, with an estimated sale potential of about Rs 1,500 crore. The project is envisioned as one of the tallest in the neighbourhood. This redevelopment is part of a broader pattern in Bandra, where numerous old bungalows have been demolished and replaced by luxury residential towers.
