Uttarakhand's special electoral roll revision has produced 59,604 objections, including 40,906 voters not found at their addresses. The Congress alleges the process is being used to target Muslim voters and Opposition supporters.

Uttarakhand's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls has produced a large number of objections, according to an analytical report prepared by election authorities. A total of 59,604 objections were filed through Form 10 across the state, with more than 90% originating from districts in the plains. The largest category comprises 40,906 voters who were reportedly not found at their registered addresses. In a single Assembly constituency, one individual filed 5,906 objections.
The Congress party has alleged that the exercise is being misused to target Muslim voters and those perceived to support the Opposition. The scale and concentration of the objections present the Election Commission with a difficult verification challenge, amid concerns that the process could be misused against particular groups of voters. The figures and the allegations have not been independently verified.
