India and China hold 25th round of border talks in Beijing
India's National Security Adviser and China's Foreign Minister co-chaired the 25th round of Special Representatives' Talks on the India-China Boundary Question, agreeing to continue seeking a political settlement.
India's National Security Adviser Ajit Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met in Beijing on Tuesday for the 25th round of the Special Representatives' Talks on the India-China Boundary Question. The two sides agreed to continue dialogue on the long-running border dispute and to seek a 'fair, reasonable and mutually acceptable' settlement.
Beijing described the discussions as 'comprehensive, in-depth, friendly and candid'. New Delhi said both sides agreed to 'continue their work in seeking a political settlement of the boundary question in the context of their overall and long-term interests.'
