The Kremlin said on Saturday that President Vladimir Putin had held 'extremely frank' talks with U.S. envoys on ending the war in Ukraine. Kremlin aide Yuri Ushakov told reporters that the American representatives had prepared thoroughly for the trip and proposed 'a number of ideas' on possible routes to a settlement. Ushakov described the conversation as constructive and trustful, adding that the Russian side expressed confidence in achieving its set goals.
