Russian drone attacks on Kyiv on Friday killed five people and injured 27 across the capital, Ukrainian authorities said. A warehouse in the Brovary district used by the logistics partner of US fast-food chain McDonald's was hit, according to reports. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the warehouse strike was part of a wider Russian campaign targeting civilian infrastructure and businesses operating in Ukraine. In a Telegram post, he described the strike as “an attack drone against ordinary food.” The warehouse was reportedly attacked twice. Kyiv Regional State Administration head Tymur Tkachenko said the first strike took place at around 3 am, while another attack hit the facility later in the day.
