A tanker caught fire off Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast on Monday after being struck by an unknown projectile, according to the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO). The incident occurred 63 nautical miles west of the Saudi city of Yanbu. UKMTO reported that the fire broke out on the main deck, but all crew members were safe and accounted for, and no environmental impact had been reported. British maritime security firm Vanguard Tech said a Saudi-flagged vessel had been hit by a missile and caught fire. The event comes as Yemen's Houthis have been targeting Saudi shipping after declaring a maritime blockade.
